I drew and painted these jewel scarabs for my sister and brother-in-law for Christmas!! I'll try to get better pictures of them when I return to Spokaneland. This will suffice for now.

I painted these little fishies this summer..... I miss warm weather. Also, I think I'm might be able to reconcile my love for color with my lack of talent for painting with acrylics. This, I should think, is a step in the right direction!
Also, I just love these colors. Orange and blue look smashing together. Here is my painting, inspiration, and a couple of freebies just cause they are so cool.

The Eye of Collum Cille

My little brother sent me a glass ball and I had the audacity to ask him what it was good for. I discovered the answer. It reminds me of the glass Eye of Collum Cille in The Secret of Kells (a lovely film).
